It’s been two months since my first day on board; however, it’s still like yesterday when I picked up my first customer service call in our Call Center. This front line is so pure that each and every one is doing their best to achieve the one and only goal of the highest customer experience. Every one is fighting with our mission and vision, and our core value. Back to the rear at our Headquarter, I find out this is actually another battle field. All attempts and innovations including expansion of product line and extension of service are for the sake of demand fulfillment for end users, which is taking place on a daily basis not only in core business segments but supporting functions. I am witnessing fancy dreams come true at JD speed in this vigorous industry and prosperous market. JD has a strong and passionate ecosphere around our core business, which makes what we are striving to all of historic importance and all about working miracle. We are not simply an e-commerce company, but a trustworthy and almighty enterprise that go beyond imagination around the platform of internet. I very much look forward to learning, growing and contributing during my next year’s rotation and future career path with JD. Just dance, just dream, just do, JD.

Several months ago, I was honored to be invited to the JD IPO event at NASDAQ. In the auditorium the IMT team was surrounded by dozens of journalists and we were asked our reasons for joining JD. For me, it wasn't because I wanted a job. Rather, I wanted to join a cause that I believed in. Not only does JD afford me the potential for an amazing career, but we are changing the world with our ambitious dreams. Since I had the privilege of joining JD, I am delighted to see both Richard’s and the senior management’s global vision and foresight. JD is ready for its globalization initiative, including an international style of management. I have no doubt that at JD Speed, JD will take the lead in global e-commerce business over the next decade. I am grateful that I get to play a small part in this historic journey.

After joining the company for a few weeks, I feel that JD International Management Talent Program is a very prestigious program. Since the company has a really high hiring bar for IMTs, once you are in, they bet and invest heavily on you. We have lots of opportunities to meet and talk to senior leaders within the company and strategic partners outside the company. When I had my rotation in phone department, I even had the opportunity to attend Samsung Note 4 Beijing Launch Party. We are absolutely entrusted with more opportunity and responsibility than our peers. Last but not least, you don’t need to worry even if you come from a non-ecommerce background. I am from management consulting industry, but I was blended in very quickly through the well-designed rotation program.
